What exactly is cashback?

Cashback is a reward system where a percentage of the money spent on a purchase is returned to the consumer (you!). When you use a cashback site, the site will give you back a percentage of whatever you spend. With Complete Savings the cashback rate is a minimum of 10%, which is very much on the high end as cashback apps typically offer around 5%.

How to sign up

To sign up just click the pop-up box that appears when you’ve made a purchase from a retailer’s website. You’ll be taken to a sign-up page where you’ll be asked to enter your details. Once you’ve filled in all of your details, you’ll receive an email confirmation that you’re a member of Complete Savings. You’ll then have exclusive access to a whole host of cashback offers! I was actually blown-away by the sheer amount of brands I could choose from. There were lots of retailers on there that I was already purchasing from on a regular basis but because I hadn’t been signed up to Complete Savings, I wasn’t earning any cashback on my purchases. You initially get 30 days free and after this free trial, you’ll be charged £18.99 per month. While this may seem a lot, you can actually earn this fee back relatively easily each month with monthly bonuses. I regularly shop at Look Fantastic, so I chose that as the retailer I would use for my monthly bonus offer. Now, each month, I’ll upload my order confirmation email (I can order anything off the Look Fantastic website) in order to claim my monthly bonus and this covers my monthly subscription cost too!

Which brands can I choose from?

There are over 1000 brands to choose from and you probably will have heard of most of them. You’ll find everything listed in categories – electrical, fashion, travel, beauty, home and garden, and leisure. Retailers in the electrical category include Ebay, Commet, Acer, Aeg, Curry’s, Dell, and lots more. In the fashion category you’ll find Adidas, All Saints, Bench, Boden, Clarks, Claire’s etc. In Travel you’ll find Easyjet, Emirates, Europcar, Expedia, Haven, Flixbus, and so much more. You’ll get a minimum of 10% from each of these brands when you shop via Complete Savings. So if you’re buying any large ticket items you are looking at a big chunk of money back in your pocket!

The above image shows the savings that can be made by buying an Adidas gift card. Complete Savings are offering 10% cashback on this purchase so if you bought a gift card for £50, it would only cost you £45. If you choose to just get regular cashback over the gift card option, simply click ‘cashback’ on the offer and then ‘shop now’. You’ll be directed to the retailer’s website where you can make your purchase as normal. Complete Savings will track your purchase through the link (the ‘shop now’ button) you clicked. Your cashback will show up on your dashboard very quickly as ‘pending’ and within a few days, the money will be in your account. You can then withdraw it to your bank account.

How much can I earn in cash back?

It completely depends upon the merchant you shop with as the cash back rates will all vary. As an example if you bought something from Curry’s for £200 you would get £20 back in cash back because Curry’s are offering 10% cash back. And that’s just with one purchase. You’ll likely be making multiple purchases over the course of the month and all of the 10% amounts really do add up. And don’t forget – 10% is the minimum amount of cash back you’ll receive!

Conclusion

In conclusion, using Complete Savings is a fantastic way to save yourself some money on your purchases. It’s quite simple to use and the cashback rates are some of the highest around. If you are someone who doesn’t really buy things very often, it may not be for you due to the monthly fee but in all honestly, it’s not too difficult to earn this back in cashback.
